The Bud Belay Plant Support System
Designed for use in industrial growing facilities of cannabis to support limb and bud growth. I designed the injection molded ring unit pictured below for a client who operates a growing facility in Maine. We paired the ring unit with a small cable retractor device to complete the design.
Having the plants individually supported means easier defoliation and clean out at harvest. It also eliminates the need for netting which is typically used for plant support during growth stage and in the drying and curing process after harvest.
